BKK Real Estate has been an independent high-quality property and project developer for over 15 years. Over that period BKK has established a reputation as a specialist in tailor-made products.
BKK believes that we should not simply live for ourselves; we have a duty to contribute to society. In the case of BKK this means developing property as an economic and social stimulus. In addition, we dedicate part of our income to charitable property development projects which, in turn, can contribute to a cultural and social environment.
Following his degree and various management courses, Bhag Khoenkhoen took on senior management roles. In particular, he was involved in developing new strategies that enabled businesses to better position themselves in their respective markets. He was involved in large-scale property development from an early stage, focusing on luxury offices, other business premises, hotels and luxury homes.
In addition to his work for a range of businesses, in a wide range of capacities, he is frequently asked to be among the decision-making bodies of organizations and associations related to the sector, with the aim of promoting synergy between business and vocational training.

In our projects, we pay maximum attention to the balance between form and function, quality of life and productivity and – more importantly – energy consumption and production. Renovation/remodelling of a school in Suriname
BKK uses part of its income to finance charitable projects. One example is Savitri School in the district of Wanica, south of the capital Paramaribo. BKK Real Estate supports this school, together with NGO Wilde Ganzen (Wild Geese). With the support of Wilde Ganzen, BKK Real Estate has renovated and extended this Surinamese school complex.
The project is twofold. On the one hand, there is a need for a school building with 17 classrooms, an IT centre/library and a large creative area (324 m2) for 500 people. On the other hand, there is a need for classrooms for adult education – evening classes, IT courses and courses in commercial, technical, agricultural and administrative subjects. This means that the building must also be suitable for use in the evening. The project started in 2008 and is almost completed. It is very successful. At this moment the number of pupils has grown from 300 to 550 in 2011, which is a 30% increase over the last years. The photo gallery shows examples of what has been realized.
